The world is stuck in broken systems. Real change comes from creativity, not control.
That’s why we bring creative learning into communities.

"Nepalu is a Belgian non-profit I started after years of being involved in projects across Nepal. Coming and going. Slowly falling in love with the place. The name comes from mayalu, meaning 'my beloved,' which captures exactly how I feel about Nepal. Everything we do through Nepalu is guided by that love."

Explore the projects

We bring creative learning into both private and public spaces, always in collaboration with artists and in close connection with local communities. In everything we do, we show deep respect for the natural environment we value so highly.

Our approach is grounded in the widely recognised 4 Ps of Creative Learning:

  • Projects, learning by making;
  • Passion, working on what truly matters to learners;
  • Peers, learning with and from one another;
  • and Play, experimenting in an open, low-pressure way.

At its core, creative learning supports people in becoming thoughtful, creative problem-solvers.

Our current projects focus on the creation of Creative Classrooms, transforming underprivileged and often remote schools, as well as bringing creative learning into public space through Street Art Festivals.

We need a community to bring our community projects to life. Discover how you can help.
