Projects 'Art Awakens'
Art has the power. To question. To move. To transform.
We build creative classrooms where they’re needed most,
hold a community-driven street-art festival
and collect old folk songs along the way.

Creative Classrooms in Lugum
A beautiful library was set up by a team of friends. Filled with art, books, instruments that spark creativity in both students and teachers. Nepalu joined the mission in 2024, and the story continues.

Bharatpur Street Art Festival
Bharatpur is a city in the south, next to the jungle. As it urbanizes rapidly, this festival brings artists, children, and the community together to paint, play music, and imagine new ways of living in harmony with nature and culture.

Old Folk Songs
Every village has its own songs.
We gather them in a sound library
and share them with anyone who wants to listen.
"Nepalu is a Belgian non-profit I started after years of being involved in projects across Nepal. Coming and going. Slowly falling in love with the place. The name comes from mayalu, meaning 'my beloved,' which captures exactly how I feel about Nepal. Everything we do through Nepalu is guided by that love."
