Ongoing Projects
These are the projects we’re currently working on together with local communities. They grow slowly and naturally—just like the traditions we’re helping to keep alive.

Bharatpur Street Art Festival
Bharatpur is a city full of life, stories, and potential. As the city urbanizes rapidly, this festival brings artists, children, and the community together to paint, play music, and imagine new ways of living in harmony with nature and culture.

Lugum Village: The Sound Library
The Sound Library in Lugum will bring instruments to the school and invite local musicians to give music classes. We’ll also record traditional songs to help preserve the village’s cultural heritage. The project ends with a simple lesson kit so teachers can keep the music going.
"Nepalu is a Belgian non-profit I started after years of being involved in projects across Nepal — coming and going, and slowly falling in love with the place. The name comes from mayalu, meaning 'my beloved,' which captures exactly how I feel about Nepal. Everything we do through Nepalu is guided by that love. We want to help preserve ancestral wisdom by offering support and space for it to shine — through music, craft, and the stories woven into everyday life."
